Both REAL ID and Enhanced driver’s licenses comply with the 2005 federal law. The major difference between the two is that an Enhanced license or ID can also be used to cross the border between the U.S. and Canada, Mexico, Bermuda and the Caribbean, if you are crossing in a car, truck or boat.

Tour options for Alaska in 2025 are filling up and we are also taking reservations for Alaska 2026! Tours with Land and Cruise packages are available for 2025 and 2026. Book early, your deposit payments are refundable prior to final payment date. Get the best cabin selection when you confirm you date early. If our dates on the brochures do not work for you, we can find that same trip on other dates that work for you.

Jody Ost, Manager of Alex Travel. Graduated from Jefferson High School here in Alexandria. Attended Dakota County Tech in Rosemount MN for Travel Planning. Have now worked for Alex Travel for 34 years. I have traveled to Bolivia, many Caribbean Islands, Mexico, Alaska, Hawaii, Las Vegas and Disney World. I have enjoyed working with Ken Koob on our European Group travel. My bucket list trips are Scotland , Ireland and back to Alaska and the Caribbean whenever I can.

Worked at National Car Rental in Edina, Travel World in Bemidji before coming to Alex Travel in 1999. I have made many trips to Disney World and Disney Land with my daughter. Ken Koob, Certified Travel Specialist. A former travel agency owner, I have been escorting European travel for the last 25 years. Have received on location training from National Tourism boards of Switzerland, Austria, Germany and Norway. I have escorted groups with Viking River Cruises and Cie Tours to Scotland and Ireland.
